This bead (pic #4) is truly amazing! I love it! Did you use a scrap of copper mesh in it? How were the bubbles added? I am thinking the bubbles ARE intentional....

Greetings! I am truly fascinated with the combinations of glass, gemstones and mother nature (pearls) that you incorporate in your pieces!
I am searching for a bit of advice/suggestions. I currently live in Attleboro. I started with cold glass- panels, boxes, suncatchers, etc about 10 years ago. I started playing around with bead abpout 6 months ago. Each and every time I get set to make a bead I want to get more and more involved but didn't know how. Another artist, tipped me off on the Beads Extravaganza this past weekend in Watertown....WOW! I was amazed with EVERYONE's craftmanship! I was in awe of what REALLY can be done in a glass bead. Alas, here comes my problem....I am only operating a hot head torch with Mapp gas. I know what I need to do! Do you use oxygen cylinders or are you using the oxygen concentrator?
If the cylinder, who, may I ask are you using for a supplier? If you use a concentrator, did you purchase it locally?

I just received my first custom made pieces...I was so pleased with them (earings) I almost kept them for myself instead of giving them to the intended receiver. An order for myself is not far off :)

I love my Be-Spangled jewels - I have items for myself, and I also purchased items for friends and family. The bead zipper pulls and key chains were a big hit -- everyone loves them! My own glass bead key chain is so unique and beautiful that it has drawn compliments from the desk people at my gym, where give them my keys when I check in. Keep up the great work!
